Cherry Grove Farm Pork

The pigs at Cherry Grove Farm are born in the spring and fall. They nurse their mother for six weeks. When they are weaned, they forage in the pastures and eat grain. Our pigs never receive antibiotics or hormones nor are they subjected to the inhumane practices of ear notching, tail docking, or nose ringing. We raise Tamworth pigs -- a "heritage breed". Factory farms have shunned these breeds making them nearly extinct. Tamworths offer many benefits to small grass-based farmers and eaters alike. They are excellent grazers and produce tender pork of exceptional flavor. Would you like to taste some of Cherry Grove Farm's Heirloom Pork? Check out our current price lists.
