Looking to get outside on a beautiful day and pet a cute goat? Or pick up some local farm goodies to bring to that dinner party? We’ve got it all! The farm is open to visitors from 10 am to 5 pm on Wednesday through Sunday. Although we’re right off Route 295 and just a short drive from downtown Princeton, Cherry Grove offers a rural respite replete with lush greenery and fresh air.
A visit to Cherry Grove is fun for the whole family! In our menagerie you’ll find furry friends including goats Mr. Tumnus and Vincent Van Goat, who are always happy to receive a head scratch and a snack (critter-friendly treats are available for purchase in our Farm Store!). We encourage visitors to pick up some local goodies from the Farm Store and enjoy a picnic by our garden. If you visit at milking time (which varies; feel free to call us to check), you’re welcome to watch the action in our milking parlor, and you can often see the cheesemaking team at work through a large window in the Farm Store.

Things To Do
Open Monday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., our Farm Store is bursting with local, farm-fresh goodness. You’ll find our farmstead cheeses, grass-fed beef, whey-fed pork, and pastured eggs as well as a wide variety of other fine foods and goods, most of which are made in close proximity to the farm.
Looking to build the cheeseboard of your dreams? Our friendly staff can recommend tasty accoutrements to go with our cheeses, from jams and chutneys, to hearty crackers and breads, to olives, nuts, pickles, chocolates, and more. We also carry the makings for an awesome gift basket for the foodie or localvore in your life, and we’d be happy to help you dress it up with some festive touches. Come in and taste what Jersey has to offer (literally—we often have samples available)!
