








Sourdough Bread Making
Hands-on sourdough bread baking workshop! Feed your starter, mix your own dough, and learn about gluten development, stretch-and-fold technique, and proofing. Shaping and baking will be demonstrated as well. We’ll also discuss how to fit bread baking into your busy schedule.
You will leave with your own starter and dough to shape and bake at home.
We will be using a selection of King Arthur Flours, readily available in area stores. Cherry Grove Farm Store also carries Morganics wheat, einkorn and rye flour, grown and milled locally in Hillsborough, NJ.
This workshop is open to total beginners as well as people who would like to refresh and further expand their knowledge about sourdough bread making.
Class runs approximately 3 hours
